• Performed the first S.T.A.R.R. ( Stapled Trans Anal Rectal Resection ) Surgery for Chronic Constipation in Maharashtra in November 2009.
• Introduced MRI Defecography ( a diagnostic test for Chronic Constipation ) in Pune.
• Has performed the maximum number of STARR surgeries in Asia.
• Is credited with performing maximum number of Stapler Haemorrhoidopexies for Piles( Mulvyadh ) per month in Asia.
• Performed the first P.O.P.S. ( Pelvic Organ Prolapse Suspension ) surgery in India.
• Introduced Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty ( LHP ) for Piles for the first time in the country.
• Has treated more than 40000 patients of Piles.
• Has invented DLPL ( Distal Laser Proximal Ligation ), a novel procedure to treat Complex Recurrent fistulas.
• Has introduced Fistula Laser Closure ( FiLaC ) for fistula ( Bhagandar ).
