Circumcision is the surgical procedure involving the removal of the foreskin, which covers the skin on the tip of the penis. This practice has historical roots in sacred traditions, and many parents today choose to have their children circumcised for religious or various reasons, such as family traditions, personal hygiene, or healthcare considerations. In certain medical cases, circumcision may be necessary if the foreskin is too tight to retract over the glans. Additionally, in specific regions like certain parts of Africa, circumcision is often recommended for older boys or individuals to reduce the risk of certain sexually transmitted diseases.
Unaddressed circumcision can lead to further complications, resulting in pain, infection, discomfort, etc.
The circumcision stapler is a contemporary, disposable dissecting instrument for circumcision. Recently introduced in India, it operates based on advanced circumcision techniques. Circumcision using the stapler method is very smooth and secure. Following cleansing, local anesthesia is administered. A topical anesthetic spray may suffice. A plastic tube is placed over the glans to secure it during the procedure. The excess foreskin is pulled over the plastic tube. The anastomat is then attached to the plastic tube over the foreskin, creating a 360-degree circular incision. There is no bleeding and no pain as the nerve supply is severed. The surplus foreskin above the tube and anastomat is removed by cleanly cutting the tube.

Yes, it is virtually bloodless as it compresses the excess prepuce (foreskin) in 360 degrees. This compression effect ensures that all blood vessels, including minor blood capillaries, are blocked. Therefore, there is no possibility of bleeding during and after the procedure
Because of the 360-degree compression, the sensations to the brain, carried by the nerve supply, are blocked. As a result, postoperative pain is minimal.
Suturing is primarily performed to stop bleeding anywhere inside the body. The device used in this procedure compresses the excess prepuce. Due to this compression, the procedure is virtually bloodless. Therefore, the need for stitches has been eliminated.
The device remains in place for a specific duration, creating a closed wound method (not exposed to the environment), thereby preventing organisms from entering your bloodstream. Consequently, there are nearly no chances of infection. In other methods, the wound is exposed to the air, allowing bacteria to enter your bloodstream and potentially cause infection.
NONE AT ALL! ONE GADGET FOR ONE. As it is a disposable device, a new device is used for each individual. This ensures that there are no chances of transmitting any iatrogenic (procedure-induced) infections.
It's essentially SCARLESS! The anastomat compresses the excess prepuce in 360 degrees, facilitating the natural removal of the compressed prepuce, resulting in no surgical cuts and stitches, thereby providing scarless results.
There's NO DRESSING at all! Since it is a bloodless and closed wound method (not open to air) with no stitches, there's no need for dressing.
Due to the anastomat, there's no dressing in this method, hence just a single follow-up is required for the evacuation of the anastomat.
Circumcision surgery is possible at any age as this gadget comes in various sizes.
