This study evaluated the stability of Constac Plus granules — an enhanced Ayurvedic polyherbal laxative formulation for severe chronic constipation — under accelerated and real-time conditions as per ICH guidelines.
Constac Plus was formulated for patients requiring a stronger laxative effect than standard Constac granules, containing an optimised blend of more potent Ayurvedic herbs at higher concentrations. The stability evaluation assessed all critical quality attributes including physical appearance, moisture content, active ingredient assay, and microbiological limits.
