Constipation occurs when bowel movements become difficult or less in frequency. This test shows the rectal & anal canal as they change during defecation. This test requires very less preparation and no pain also while performing this test. A jelly paste around 300 to 400ml is inserted in the anal region of the patient & the patient is asked to defecate it. All the images during the defecation process are recorded.
